A Successful EWaste Drive!

Premier would like to thank all of the Quad-City Area Chamber of Commerce members who participated in Premier’s e-waste recycle program during Earth Week.

With the help of many local small businesses and the Chamber, we were able to recycle almost 30,000 pounds of old computers and computer related items.

Did you know that each old CRT monitor contains up to four pounds of lead?  The CRT’s dropped off at Premier will now be properly recycled.  Computers too have many hazardous materials that can be reclaimed and reused by recycling.

We would like to thank the Moline School District for not only participating in our Earth Week program, but for sending a team of people to help unload all of the items. Moline School District delivered almost 10,000 pounds of obsolete items.
